During What Time of the Year are Conference Housing Facilities Available?
Conference Housing offers accommodations throughout the year for official guests of UC Davis through our University Guest Resident Program. Our typical season begins immediately following the close of spring quarter until the start of the fall academic quarter; this period typically begins near mid-June and ends mid-September.
 
Can an Individual Stay in Conference Facilities?
Yes, an individual with university business would stay through the University Guest Resident Program. The University Guest Resident program provides limited on-campus accommodations for individuals affiliated with the University of California or who have business on campus.Guests are lodged in an apartment style residential complex on the north side of campus. The daily rate includes breakfast served daily in our dining facilities. Reservations must be made in advance by completing a reservation form and sending it to Conference Housing.
 
How Can I Obtain a Rate Quote for Our Conference Group?
University-affiliated departments may contact us directly and off-campus groups may contact Conference & Event Services. Be sure to include estimated number of guests, type of guests such as youth, college students, or adults, and preferred primary and alternate dates for the conference.
 
What Type of Conferences Utilize UC Davis During the Summer?
We host a wide array of sport camps, cheerleading camps, youth leadership conferences, academic symposiums, educational groups, international student groups, religious conferences and individuals.
 
What Size Groups Can Be Accommodated?
We have had groups as small as 3 and as large as 3,200.
 
Will Participants Arriving by Car Be Able to Easily Locate Conference Accommodations?
Prior to arriving for your conference, please view our check in maps available for your convenience.
 
Are Single Accommodation Rooms Available?
Guests may request single rooms; a supplemental nightly room charge will be added.
 
Is Public Transportation Available for Conference Guests?
UC Davis is conveniently located near Sacramento International Airport is just 1½ hours from San Francisco and Oakland International Airports; Davis is also serviced by Amtrak and Greyhound. The primary mode of transportation around UC Davis and the city is the bicycle. These can be rented on campus, and the city is well served by the campus bus service as well as local bus lines.
 
How or When Can I Apply For a Refund?
To qualify for a refund, all cancellations must be made at least two weeks prior to the first reserved arrival date; a service fee of $25 will be deducted from the refund amount. A refund check will be mailed approximately four to six weeks after notification. Full payment will be forfeited if cancellation notification is not received at least two weeks prior to the first arrival date of the conference.
